SANTA ROSA, Fla. (WKRG) — Santa Rosa County Animal Services officials have made the decision to take part in NBCUniversal Local’s 2025 “Clear The Shelters” campaign throughout the month of August.

According to an SRCAS news release, they will be waiving adoption fees from Wednesday, Aug. 27, through Saturday, Aug. 30.
Like other shelters all across the country, SRCAS has had issues with being at or over capacity for the entirety of 2025, and hopes that partnering with NBCUniversal Local will allow them to help find these pets their forever homes.
