Pensacola seeks resident feedback on the future of Fricker Resource Center

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacola residents are invited to participate in two upcoming public engagement meetings for the Fricker Resource Center Renovation Project, according to a City of Pensacola press release.

The release said the city received a $5,500,000 grant from Florida Commerce’s Hurricane Sally Infrastructure Repair Program and a $4,000,000 grant from Florida Commerce’s Multi-Purpose Community Facility Program in 2023.

With almost $10 million in funding, the Fricker Resource Center is preparing renovations for a two-story, multipurpose community facility designed to serve as an “inclusive and dynamic” neighborhood hub, according to the release.

Attendees are encouraged to share their ideas and provide feedback on programs and services they feel is best for the community, the release said…
