City plans to sell Pensacola Motor Lodge, requiring buyers to offer affordable housing

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Mayor D.C. Reeves announced the city’s plan to sell the Pensacola Motor Lodge on Tuesday. The 30-room motel has sat vacant for more than a decade.

The last two years, the city has owned it with the intent to turn it into affordable housing. Now, it still sits vacant and there are no plans in sight.
