An updated report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 8:55 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 10 p.m. for Escambia County.
Residents can be ready for wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 8:55 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Baker, or 14 miles northwest of Crestview, moving southwest at 40 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
