SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – A court date has been set for Sept. 16 for a Pace, Fla., man accused of murder in connection with a 2022 fentanyl overdose death.
Jimmy Forrest Robinson III, 28, on Tuesday was indicted on a charge of first-degree murder by illegal distribution of controlled substances. Robinson had been arrested on the charge on July 9 and is being held without bond in the Santa Rosa County Jail, according to the Office of the State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Derek Beckman was found dead at his home on March 3, 2022, according to authorities. State prosecutors said the medical examiner determined he died from a fentanyl overdose. The Santa…..
