Pensacola Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to announce a generous $108,500 donation from local business Waterboyz, made through Florida’s Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP). This substantial gift will help build affordable homes for families in need across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
The CCTCP is a Florida Department of Economic Opportunity initiative designed to encourage private sector participation in community development and housing projects. Businesses that donate to approved nonprofit organizations, like Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, may be eligible to receive tax credits equal to 50% of the value of their contribution, which can be applied to their Florida corporate income tax, insurance premium tax, or sales tax liabilities.
“This program presents a unique and impactful opportunity for community partners to support the mission of Pensacola Habitat,” said Sam Young, President and CEO of Pensacola Habitat. “With Waterboyz’s generous contribution, we are not just building homes—we’re investing in long-term stability for families who need it most in our communities.”…
