PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated almost 36,000 pounds of food to the Manna Food Pantry for families in need in the Pensacola community.

Their donation included nonperishable foods such as rice, pasta, beans, and fruits. These foods are able to provide an equivalent of 42,428 healthy meals to families.
“Our friends at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are changing people’s lives. Their contribution of thousands of pounds of healthy food will ensure that folks in our community – your neighbors and mine – can feed their families,” Manna Director DeDe Flounlacker said. “We are so thankful for the generosity of The Church!”
