Former corrections officer calls 911 after deadly shooting

MILTON, Fla. (WALA) – For the first time, we’re hearing the 911 call a former corrections officer made after he allegedly shot and killed his roommate.

Curtis Johnson, who had been an Okaloosa County corrections officer, was arrested in Santa Rosa County earlier this month. Investigators say he shot Barbara Dedert multiple times inside a home on Pinto Avenue.
