ECAT fires FlexTransit driver as photos show him take county vehicle to gentlemen’s club

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Escambia County Area Transit says it is working to hire more drivers as it tries to keep up with the demand for FlexTransit rides.

The recently-introduced rideshare program offers low-cost mini-bus rides to county residents. They must be scheduled.

“FlexTransit is operational but is currently experiencing a high demand for service,” ECAT told WEAR News in a statement on Monday. “ECAT is working with a staffing vendor to recruit additional professional drivers to meet increased demand.”…
