Extortion of County Clerk
The top read concerned the federal indictment of Justin J. Wright in connection with the fire bombing of a vehicle near the home of Escambia County Clerk Pam Childers. The actual complaint has been sealed because the FBI is looking for the ringleader of an alleged extortion attempt of Childers and for putting her and family members “in reasonable fear” of death and serious bodily injury, but what has attracted interest was the indictment lists those endangered by Wright – “that person (Pam Childers), an immediate family member of that person and a spouse and intimate partner of that person.”
Who is the “intimate partner of that person?” Or is it a typo?

Bye, Black Lives Matter Street Mural
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has issued a warning to the City of Pensacola, demanding immediate action to address “noncompliant” pavement markings on North A Street. Pensacola has until Sept. 4 to either remove the noncompliant markings or contact FDOT about its compliance intentions. If the city fails to respond, FDOT will remove the markings and bill Pensacola for all costs.
Pensacola is not unique – Orlando, Leon County, Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale, Broward County and St. Petersburg have received similar FDOT notifications.
