Report: Confidential source helps DEA catch Pensacola man with 286 grams of fentanyl

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 33-year-old Pensacola man is facing federal drug trafficking charges after being caught with 286 grams of fentanyl, according to an arrest report.

Jujuan George was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday of these charges:

  • distribution of fentanyl and cocaine
  • possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana
  • possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense
  • possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon

George’s trial is scheduled for Oct. 6. He faces up to life imprisonment if convicted.

Drug Enforcement Administration officers arrested George on June 17 following a search of a business on Rock Island Place. An arrest report states they recovered 286 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of meth and six firearms (two stolen) during the search…
