Escambia and Santa Rosa deputies, Pensacola Police will no longer enforce open carry ban

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office and Pensacola Police tell WEAR News Thursday morning that they will no longer enforce Florida’s open carry gun ban following Wednesday’s court ruling.

WEAR News has reached out to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting a response.
