Pensacola pair sentenced for violent crime spree

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Two Pensacola individuals have been sentenced for their roles in an attempted murder.

Baldwin County man faces child sex abuse charges

According to a news release from the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, Natalie Fonseca and Nafis Reynolds were sentenced to 30 years each in the Florida Department of Corrections.

A barefoot man who had been beaten approached the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 8, 2023. Investigators found the victim met Fonseca and Reynolds on social media and went out with them on Oct. 8.

As Fonseca drove the victim’s car, Reynolds beat and robbed the victim. They later threw him off the Escambia River Bridge after cutting his throat, the release said.

Reynolds and Fonseca then fled the scene and reportedly set the victim’s car on fire. Despite his injuries, the victim managed to survive and swim to shore…
