Escambia County fire destroys tractor-trailer; business saved

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a tractor-trailer fire Monday that threatened a nearby business and trailer, according to an ECFR Facebook post.

Deadly crash reported in Semmes

Firefighters were called to the 1700 block of North Pace Boulevard at about 6:52 p.m. in reference to what they believed was a commercial structure fire, but when they arrived, they realized it was a fire behind the building.

“Due to the rapid response by firefighters, the nearby building and another trailer were saved,” the post said.

The tractor-trailer that was on fire was a total loss, but there were no injuries or fatalities.
