Richard Stewart, employee at Gud Vybz Jamaican Grill in Pensacola, is now a permanent Florida resident, but he has daughters, brothers, aunts, cousins, and his mother all back in Jamaica.
“Watching everybody at home, rushing to evacuate and to put things in place was, you know, pretty scary,” Stewart said.
He last spoke with his family on Wednesday morning. Although he’s relieved they’re all okay, the same can’t be said about homes and structures on the island…
