“About a year ago, we were able to come here as a final and we brought a truck in and with collaboration with the county, we tore this drug house down,” said Santa Rosa County Deputy Randy Tifft. “Then the county was able to work the land trust and put this into the land trust, which ultimately ended up with this great family having a home.”
The county has donated this land to Habitat for Humanity’s Community Land Trust, an equity homeownership model, to which folks can apply to be selected for a home if they meet all necessary requirements.
