Septic to sewer transition doesn’t have to hurt, just ask Gulf Breeze

While Santa Rosa County struggles with efforts to incentivize homeowners to give up their septic tanks in favor of sewer service, the city of Gulf Breeze is working toward a goal of eliminating all septic within its city limits.

Under an eight-year plan devised in 2020, the city has prioritized 13 areas where it is installing the infrastructure to make septic to sewer conversions as easy and inexpensive as possible to residents.
