The Downtown Improvement Board’s holiday giveaway has returned. For every $10 spent in downtown shops, restaurants, bars and galleries, the participant will receive one contest entry through Dec. 17. At the end of the contest period, one winner will be randomly picked and awarded $1,000 in “downtown cash” to spend downtown.
- DIB Executive Director Walter Wilson said, “As people are shopping, eating, dining, drinking, all the good stuff downtown, going to see a show at the Sanger or at Vinyl or the Pensacola Little Theater, you take a picture of your receipt, upload it to downtownpensacola.com/allIwant. And every $10 you spend downtown from Nov. 5th through Dec. 17th, you’ll get an entry to win our $1,000 downtown shopping spree.”
In addition to the grand prize, a prize is awarded daily to a lucky participant who has submitted their receipt. Furthermore, each week, a $100 gift card will be drawn, providing even more incentives for shoppers to get involved early in the campaign.
“Our first winner was picked today,” said Wilson. “She went and got lunch yesterday at Sabai Thai and turned her receipt in, and lo and behold, she won a $25 gift card to Rusted Arrow.”
