Recently, Troy native Quintarries Upshaw was named the Teacher of the Year at Workman Middle School in Florida.
Upshaw, a graduate of Charles Henderson High School and Troy University, is a teacher at Workman Middle School in Pensacola, Fla., and also a published author. Upshaw teaches social studies at Workman Middle School and is also an assistant cheer coach.
