Milton Police ramping up DUI patrols after hit-and-run crash into home

MILTON, Fla. — Milton Police have a new strategy to catch drunk drivers. A handful of DUI arrests have been made in this city of 10,000 residents this year.

That, according to Milton Police Chief Jennifer Frank, is five too many. She says there’s a plan in place to cut down on DUIs in her city.

Chief Frank says enough is enough after an accident on Thursday. Police say a woman was driving with more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system. And it didn’t end well…
