Report: Man stabbed victim in Pace after accusing him of turning him in to Crime Stoppers

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — A 30-year-old man stabbed another man in the neck in Santa Rosa County after accusing him of turning him in to Crime Stoppers for an active warrant, according to an arrest report.

WEAR News reported last week that Dalton Wallace is charged with:

  • attempted second-degree homicide
  • burglary of an occupied structure
  • resisting with violence
  • battery
  • threatening death or harm to a law enforcement officer

The incident happened Sunday night at the Bell Ridge apartments in Pace.

According to the arrest report, the male victim said he was driving with Wallace as his passenger when Wallace accused him of turning him in to Crime Stoppers for his active warrant for battery and obstructing justice…
