Pensacola Habitat for Humanity constructs home for single mom

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Pensacola Habitat for Humanity’s Annual Executive Build brought together community leaders on Thursday to construct a new home for a single mother on Louisville Avenue.

This year, Habitat for Humanity partnered with Gulf Winds Credit Union, Navy Federal Credit Union, Baptist Hospital and SouthState Bank.

“We have members of our team that are part of this all year long, different builds,” Gulf Winds President Daniel Souers said. “Like, for example, the house next to us that’s built now was one of our Women Build and the women of Gulf Winds helped build that house.”
