ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder, according to a news release from the Office of the State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit of Florida.

‘He was trying to kill me’: Mobile man allegedly shoots neighbor in self defense

Court documents show Darryl Jerome Walker, Sr., shot and killed Sheena Marie Levine, his wife, while she was in her home on Nov. 22, 2023.

Walker then called his children moments later and told them he “f**ked up” and Levine “grabbed the gun.” He left the scene and went to Marianna with the gun, where he was arrested the next day.

During the trial, a video of Walker’s interview with the police was played. He stated the shooting was an accident and “the gun went off while he had his arms around the victim,” the release said…
