PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) –
TUESDAY – Heavy rain and thunderstorms began overnight into Tuesday morning for areas to our west, like Mobile and Pensacola. A frontal boundary began pushing those thunderstorms east through the early morning hours. As of the late morning, our thunderstorms and rain have mostly moved off to the east. That opens the door for drier air to slide into the Panhandle Wednesday. Tuesday afternoon remains cloudy, but much less in terms of rainfall is likely. Afternoon highs top out in the lower 70s for most, followed by overnight lows in the 30s.
