Pensacola man sentenced for drug trafficking, gun charges

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man has been sentenced for drug trafficking and firearm charges, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Florida news release.

In September, 32-year-old Terrance Josiah Fasold pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and more than 40 grams of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon.

On Wednesday, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for those charges.

Court records showed that Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating vehicle burglaries involving stolen firearms when, on Oct. 29, 2024, they approached Fasold in a Pensacola hotel parking lot.

Fasold allegedly ran off, tossing a bag with a lot of fentanyl in it under a parked car as he left. Deputies searched Fasold’s hotel room and found more fentanyl, as well as methamphetamine, cocaine, multiple firearms, and ammunition…
