MILTON, Fla. (WKRG) — The City of Milton has rescheduled its Light Up Milton event because of weather, according to a City of Milton news release.

Because of impending rain Friday night, Light Up Milton has been rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 12, with the event schedule remaining the same:
- 5 p.m. – Santa arrives at the Riverwalk Pavilion
- 5:30 p.m. – Tree Lighting Ceremony at the corner of North Willing Street and Highway 90
- 6 p.m. – Blackwater Pyrates Lighted Boat Parade
- 7 p.m. – Fireworks over the Blackwater River
- 5 – 9 p.m. – Holiday Market by the Santa Rosa Street Market
Everyone planning on attending is encouraged to dress warmly, allow extra time for parking and “bring plenty of holiday cheer as we celebrate the season together.”…
