Former deputy seeks dismissal of arrest warrant in double-fatal Perdido Key crash

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — The off-duty deputy who hit and killed two 20-year-old pedestrians in July is requesting his arrest warrant be dismissed.

Tuesday, Greg Nesmith’s attorney, Christopher Crawford, filed a motion to dismiss the arrest report, which outlines the facts and initial interview with the former deputy.
