Thousands gather for Pensacola’s rescheduled Snowball Derby

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A rain delay didn’t seem to keep the crowds away for Pensacola’s Snowball Derby that began last week.

With a weekend full of rain, the big race day scheduled for Sunday had to be pushed back to Monday.

An annual 300-lap race that draws thousands from all across the country, the Snowball Derby kicked off last Thursday, Dec. 4, at Five Flags Speedway.
