ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A car chase that began with a burglary investigation in Santa Rosa County crossed county lines and ended with gunfire, a K-9 apprehension, and three arrests, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies were notified around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday that a vehicle involved in a car burglary in Santa Rosa County had been reported stolen and was traveling into Escambia County.
Deputies attempted to stop the white SUV, but it crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Coons and Norris Avenues around 8 a.m.
