Florida Power & Light wants to unload Gulf Power’s HQ—another sign of Pensacola’s business community losing its influence at the state level. They built the building, which has a commanding view of Pensacola Bay, in 1987. We have heard the building is barely occupied after FPL moved many of its functions outside of the region.
