FLORIDA — One person was injured and several vehicles were damaged in a crash on Christmas Day in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 1 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 29 and State Road 97. Troopers said a 65-year-old woman from Atmore was driving south on U.S. 29 when she failed to stop for a red light and struck a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old woman from Molino, who was traveling west on State Road 97.
The impact caused the Molino woman’s vehicle to be pushed into a second car driven by a 65-year-old Molino woman, who was stopped in the right turn lane on State Road 97, authorities said…
