Pensacola man sentenced to 10 years for methamphetamine distribution

PENSACOLA, Florida — Ohagee Curry, also known as “Gee,” a 28-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The announcement was made by John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.

Curry pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and 500 grams or more of a mixture containing methamphetamine, as well as distribution of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. He was one of 14 defendants charged in three different indictments, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The methamphetamine distribution network, which Curry was at the center of, operated in Cantonment, Pensacola, and Beulah, Florida. It was uncovered through a multi-year investigation conducted by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
