Chief of Naval Operations visits NAS Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) – It was a packed house at NAS Pensacola to welcome Admiral Daryl Caudle who made his first visit to the installation as the Chief of Naval Operations.

“This place is such an important part of how we build mastery across the Navy so that’s why it’s so important for me to come here and visit,” said Admiral Daryl Caudle, Chief of Naval Operations. “I’ve always interfaced with it from afar and to actually come here and visit the actual command itself is a great opportunity for me as CNO.”

Admiral Caudle started by recognizing outstanding sailors and outlining some of his priorities to put sailors first and make sure they have everything they need to have a warfighting advantage. Admiral Caudle then fielded questions about everything from keeping up with ship maintenance to the emergence of new technology.
