Elberta man arrested after road rage incident leads to shooting, crash: BCSO

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested an Elberta man after they said a road rage incident led to a shooting and intentional crash.

According to a BCSO news release, deputies responded to a report of a road rage incident that happened on US Highway near Lillian on Dec. 1.

Deputies said a man, now identified as 68-year-old Alan Scott Coile, shot into the victim’s car while they were both driving, before he intentionally crashed into the victim.

Officials said that deputies saw the vehicle with a bullet hole and other damage from the crash…
