OCSO: Nearly 40 grams of meth Recovered; woman charged with trafficking

NAVARRE, Fla. (WALA) – Nearly 40 grams of methamphetamine were recovered after a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a Navarre woman, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Tabitha Keesey, 39, was taken into custody Jan. 10 following a traffic stop off Beal Parkway, OCSO said. During the stop, a K-9 alerted to the vehicle.

During a subsequent search, deputies reported finding burnt residue on pieces of aluminum foil scattered throughout the car and cut plastic straws inside an eyeglass case.

Authorities also found a small jewelry bag containing about a gram of what is suspected to be cocaine inside another eyeglass case, a digital scale with methamphetamine residue and a small plastic container holding roughly 2 grams of meth, the sheriff’s office said…
