Pensacola man faces 15 years after pleading guilty to firearm possession as a felon

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 23-year-old Pensacola man is facing up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on Tuesday.

According to authorities, on August 25, 2025, Isaiah Sims ran from a vehicle as Escambia County deputies conducted a traffic stop.
