FLORIDA – A rare winter weather system brought snowfall to parts of Florida’s Panhandle, creating scenes that are seldom seen in a state known for warm temperatures and beaches.
Early Sunday morning, cold air moving in behind a strong Arctic front combined with lingering moisture in the atmosphere, allowing rain to change over to snow in several communities in the western Panhandle.
