‘Nick Saban of high pressure’ may bring freezing rain to Penacola

What are the chances that Pensacola sees back-to-back snow? Not zero, but freezing rain or sleet is more likely, says the National Weather Service.

Another winter storm is shaping up to drive bitter cold arctic air toward Florida, according to AccuWeather. At the same time, moisture is forecast to rise northward from the Gulf. This increasingly familiar weather pattern could produce a more dangerous mix of wintry precipitation, including ice.
