Santa Rosa commissioners were unanimous in supporting Bayou District Consulting and its partner, SMP Architecture, as the top choice to develop 3.6 acres of downtown Milton property where the vacated county courthouse now sits.
The board authorized county staff to enter into negotiations with the would-be developer in hopes of finalizing a contract to seal the development deal.
