Pensacola rebrand logo cost $25K; Mayor claims councilmembers were notified months ago

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Contrary to city councilmembers’ statements, Pensacola Mayor DC Reeves tells WEAR News they were made aware of the city’s rebrand nine months ago.

Late Thursday afternoon, Mayor Reeves — who wasn’t available to speak on camera — shared an email with WEAR News, saying it confirms that councilmembers in fact were made aware of the rebrand in early 2025. This comes after councilmembers Jennifer Brahier and Charles Bare said earlier Thursday that they weren’t made aware at all.
