Winter storm brings Florida Panhandle a week of sub-freezing temps

The Florida Panhandle will remain under an extreme cold warning through noon on Monday, Jan. 26, but the cold weather won’t subside yet. Floridians in the Panhandle can expect sub-freezing temperatures through the end of January.

Pensacola’s high on Monday is only expected to reach about 45 degrees, which is a whopping 27 degrees colder than Sunday’s high of 72. Overnight lows on Monday and early Tuesday morning will bob between the upper teens and lower 20s, according to the National Weather Service’s latest forecast.
