PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Pensacola pharmacist and his accomplice are charged in an illegal drug distribution scheme, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Community Health Northwest Florida announced last week that one of its pharmacists had been arrested. That pharmacist is 47-year-old Douglas Craig Reid Jr., who works at Community Health’s Bayou Boulevard pharmacy, according to the health center’s website.
Reid Jr. and his alleged accomplice, 47-year-old Martrice Lamar Portis, are both charged with conspiracy to unlawfully dispense and distribute controlled substances and to obtain controlled substances by fraud…
