Pensacola police bring in cadaver otter to aid in missing person investigation

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — You’ve heard of cadaver dogs, but have you heard of cadaver otters? Well, the Pensacola Police Department has, and they brought the nation’s first one in to assist them in a missing person investigation.

Okaloosa County deputies still searching for answers in 36-year-old cold case

According to PPD officials, the otter, Splash, was brought in to help but was not deployed because the woman reported missing was found safe.
