ZZ Top, that turbo-blues rock trio known humbly as “That Little Ol’ Band from Texas,” plans to bring over a half-century of hits and deep cuts to Pensacola on April 2, performing at the Saenger Theatre on Palafox.
General admission tickets go on sale Feb. 6 and run from $80 to $150, before service fees. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, www.pensacolasaenger.com, or at the Saenger box office.
The Houston band, which began in 1969, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. ZZ Top debuted as a fiery blues-driven trio with greasy albums such as “ZZ Top’s First Album,” and breakout releases “Tres Hombres” in 1973 and “Fandango!” in 1975.
