PENSACOLA, Florida — Bobby Womack, a 45-year-old from DeFuniak Springs, Florida, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple charges, including drug and firearm offenses.
Womack faces charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon armed career criminal, according to John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida. Womack appeared for his arraignment in federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Zachary C. Bolitho in Pensacola, Florida. A jury trial is scheduled for March 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. before District Court Judge M. Casey Rodgers.
If convicted, Womack could face a minimum of 10 years to life imprisonment for the drug charges, a minimum of 5 years to life for the firearm possession in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and a minimum of 15 years to life for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon armed career criminal, stated the press release…
