PENSACOLA, Florida — Darin Leroy Vanness, a 32-year-old from Milton, Florida, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, announced John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.
Vanness appeared for his arraignment in federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Hope T. Cannon in Pensacola, Florida. His jury trial is scheduled for March 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., before District Court Judge T. Kent Wetherell, II. If convicted, Vanness faces up to ten years in prison.
