SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — An intersection in Santa Rosa County is now closed to pedestrians due to a construction project.
City of Mobile pauses legal fight over online sales tax
According to a news release, the sidewalks at the intersection of West Spencer Field and South Spencer Field Roads have closed to pedestrian traffic to make way for building a roundabout. Sidewalks past the project area will remain open to the public.
Work on the roundabout began on Jan. 12 at the intersection of West Spencer Field/South Spencer Field Roads and Giddens Lane.
Local residents will still be able to leave and return home as needed. Drivers should be cautious, obey speed limits, and allow for necessary travel time.
