ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Florida Power and Light and the Council on Aging went door-to-door to deliver energy efficiency kits and roses to Northwest Florida seniors on low or fixed incomes.
As part of FPL’s Emergency Energy Saver program, each kit comes equipped with sensor lightbulbs, weatherstrip tape, an air filter whistle, and a door corner seal.
“We really work to help our customers learn about energy efficiency,” said Shelley Ragsdale, FPL Lead Communication Strategist. “We want them to use energy wisely, and so this is a great program for customers who qualify to help them learn to be more energy efficient, along with providing them products to help them save money.”…
