Pensacola felon indicted on drug trafficking, firearm charges

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A man from Pensacola has been indicted on charges involving drug trafficking and firearm possession.

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Florida, 25-year-old Timothy Donail Knight was indicted on one count of possession with intent to distribute more than 40 grams of a mixture and substance containing fentanyl, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.

On the possession with intent to distribute fentanyl charge, Knight faces a five-year minimum sentence, up to 40 years at maximum if convicted. He faces up to 15 years for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charge, and up to life in prison for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense…
