ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Escambia County EMS is offering a free, hands-only CPR class for residents, News 5 has learned.

District 4 Escambia County Commissioner Ashlee Hofberger is partnering with Escambia County EMS to present the program. It’s set for Wednesday, March 18, at 6 p.m. at the Ferry Pass Community Center, 8800 North 9th Avenue, according to a news release.

The class will focus on hands-only CPR, a “simple and effective technique that can save lives during cardiac emergencies when immediate action is critical,” the release said…
